Abstract

The article highlights the experience of foreign countries (Great Britain, Armenia, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation) as to using electronic educational resources as a tool for preparing basic second ary education seekers for external independent assessment (hereinafter as EIA). It is found out that in foreign countries, information on EIA upon completion of basic secondary education is posted either on the website of the Ministry of Education or on the website of an institution (test or evaluation center, etc.), which is responsible for the development and administration of EIA in the country. However, in the vast majority of foreign countries, these sites have only the exam schedule and examples of tasks (unanswered). Perspectives of foreign experience on introduction of the state final certification (hereinafter as SFC) in the form of EIA upon completion of the institutions of basic secondary education (gymnasium) are outlined for Ukraine. These perspectives relate to the creation of: 1) a separate section on the website of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment, posted to the organization and conduct of SFSs in the form of EIA upon completion of gymnasium. Placement of test tasks in this section to prepare basic secondary education seekers for SFCs in the form of EIA, and after conducting this evaluation – reports and tests of basic and additional sessions, test workbooks (certification works) and separately answers to test tasks from them and information such as “Participant Roadmap”, which will describe in a step-bystep the procedure for the gymnasium student’s participation in SFS in the form of EIA; 2) a site for seekers and teachers, which would host electronic educational resources (online lessons, videos, tests, etc.) to help the teacher be prepared for the lesson, and the seeker to repeat the material, evaluate their educational achievements.
