Abstract
The article actualizes the problem of the formation of speech competence as one of the important components of communicative, which is the key to the success of the individual in the modern society. Today is characterized by dynamic development, the presence of multi-vector information space, which affects the ways of interpersonal contact and qualitative characteristics of broadcasting. The facts cited in the publication substantiate the priority of speech development of educational recipients. The authors explained the concept of linguistic, speech, sociocultural and communicative competences, analyzed the component structure of communicative competence. New realities of the educational process, based on the competence-based approach, the need to ensure the quality of education, adequate to the needs of the individual in the modern information space, understanding the changes in the environment in which a child grows and develops, objectively cause the updating of not only the content but also the technologies of learning, its methods, forms and means, including the textbook. The article outlines the basic requirements for the content of the Ukrainian language textbook for general secondary education institutions with minority languages of teaching. In particular, the importance of taking into account the psychological features of mastering the second language, the results of comparative analysis of the language systems of Ukrainian and native languages, improving the methods of presentation of language material in terms of its communicative importance, setting of educational tasks, as well as the correspondence of the content of text, illustrative and audio content with modern schoolchildren needs. Some aspects of didactic and methodological possibilities of the textbook are considered as a means of forming the speech competence of primary pupils in the process of studying Ukrainian as a state language. Attention is focused on the need to provide a logically motivated correlation of theoretical and practical material aimed at developing the skills of productive speech communication.
