Abstract
Modernization of literary education, focused on the formation of critical and creative thinking of students, on the development of a wide range of social, educational (universal and subject) and individual-personal competencies in them, is intended to open up new opportunities for students to self-improve and self-realize through the educational process of teaching aids generations. The combination of pedagogical traditions with innovative approaches will allow you to create a textbook that most closely matches the psychological and pedagogical features and educational needs of students.
The development of a new generation of textbooks on literature is associated with
• using new approaches to structuring and presenting educational material (reducing the volume of educational texts, refusing to use exclusively linear texts, introducing various methods of graphical and symbolic presentation of information, using augmented reality and QR codes, etc.);
• creating a system of tasks for organizing group independent work of students, including using the information educational environment;
• a reduction in the volume of reproductive tasks with an increase in the number of tasks aimed at developing critical thinking and the creative abilities of students;
• the inclusion of competence-oriented tasks in the content of the manuals, the implementation of which will contribute to the development of various groups of competences among tenth-graders, will increase the connection between studying literature and modernity. The socio-economic importance of a new type of textbook is that its introduction into the educational process contributes to the achievement of the most important educational result — the ability to comprehend written texts and use their content to achieve their own goals and active participation in society. The study of the psychology of modern adolescents convinces us of the need to find new forms and methods for studying literature, developing new ways of adapting educational material.
