Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of the implementation of competence and personalityoriented approaches to constructing of a textbook on economics of the profile level. Challenges and demands of the society stimulated the reorientation of the vector of the general school from knowledge-based learning to competences development. This involves the transition from “learning all things” to mastering each student’s learning achievements at a level that allows him to learn further. Accordingly, to date, already a large part of society, consciously or subconsciously, understands the importance of entrepreneurial competence and financial literacy in everyone’s lives. That is, in essence, society already has a social request for economics as an educational branch. However, the question arises: how exactly to identify the main aspects of the textbook on economics, personally-oriented on social demand? In the article the main views on the educational process in the offered approaches are selected, which helped to form a model of competence formation and to highlight the basic essence of the competences of entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Here the main aspects of the public request to this textbook on economics of the profile level are disclosed, as well as the general model of their selection, which are shown in integrated monitoring of the requirements of major groups of society concerning the textbook on economics of the profile level as a modern educational tool. In order to distinguish the key aspects and features of the public request for the profile textbook on economics, it is necessary to determine the requirements for the textbook structure of the main categories of society concerning it. In order to respond effectively to the requirements of the present, it is necessary to improve the knowledge component to the competence of economic education at lyceum. In this area of creating a textbook on economics of the profile level, there are two consecutive questions that need to be answered for a thorough consideration of this topic. First, what questions should I ask to determine a social request? Secondly, how to efficiently cut off the views of representatives of entrepreneurship and the financial market?
