Abstract
The article focuses on the formation and development of the information society, which determines the need to intensify the processes of informatization of education; the role of science in the content of the organizational-economic mechanism of informatization of higher education through the system of scientific and social relations, the theoretical and methodological approaches to the essence of the phenomenon of organizational-economic mechanism of informatization of higher education as an economic category is revealed; conceptual approaches to its classification and development, specificity of realization of the organizational-economic mechanism of informatization of higher education are presented. Systemically substantiated and determined the content of the organizational-economic mechanism of informatization of higher education as a purposeful professional, economically effective making changes and additions (innovations) to the educational space of the higher school through the rational management of information and educational resources. It is revealed that the inherent component of the modern innovation process is the integration of education, science and production. The dominant tendency of the world development requires with an objective need to ensure the leading role of science as a decisive factor in progress. Active interaction of all subjects of management with research organizations of different types creates conditions for the effective realization of achievements of scientific and technological progress and ensuring the competitiveness of the economy. On the principles of integration, scientific and technical cooperation with scientific institutions, centers, universities, and institutes is developing which results the emersion of new organizational forms of interaction (technoparks, technopolises, scientific and industrial complexes of different types, business associations) that solve the problems of a fundamentally new innovation development connected with the formation of new tenors of technology. It is proved that the State Scientific and Technical Policy (SSTP) as an objective-institutional form of state regulation of science, approved in the Constitution of Ukraine, makes it possible to reveal the peculiarities of the implementation of the organizational-economic mechanism of informatization of higher education and causes conditions for accumulation and development of aggregate human capital. Implementation of the organizational-economic mechanism of informatization of higher education allows to significantly increase the level of scientific support for branches of domestic production and education.
