Abstract
The article deals with the relevance of the “Fine Arts” textbook. The textbook is designed to work with first-graders with severe speech disorders. The basis of the textbook “Fine Arts” was the author’s concept of art, speech development, training and education of students with severe speech disorders. The textbook is designed for the training program “Fine Arts” (1 class). The article discloses methods of correction and development of speech of schoolboys at lessons of the fine arts. In each part of the lesson is working on the formation and perfection of diction, vocabulary, grammar, and connected speech. Securing pronunciation of sounds occurs during the naming of artistic terminology. Expanding vocabulary is carried out by clarifying the meaning of words. The vocabulary in lessons of the fine arts is enriched with synonyms, antonyms, ambiguous words. Grammar formation occurs during the students’ answers to questions. Students practiced in the right-hand number, gender, case of nouns and adjectives, number, gender and type of verbs. Performing practical tasks is accompanied by commenting connected speech. Thus the integrity of the system is carried out correction of speech disorders by enhancing visual, tactile, auditory and motor analyzers.
