Abstract
The rapid pace of development of modern theory and practice is needed of modernization and improvement of content of education children with special educational needs. An important problem that requires a speedy solution is the question the provision of course books of different subjects for children with severe speech disabilities. In particular the course book of Ukrainian language in primary school which is taken into account the specificity of speech disorders and is presented differential tasks, exercises, is aimed at overcoming specific manifestations of oral and written speech. Students with severe speech disabilities have disorders of all the systems of language, including deficiencies in reading and writing, experience difficulties of language patterns in learning of Ukrainian language, master language patterns with difficulty through the limitation of of their language experience. Given the nature of the difficulties that accompany the process of mastering the basic practical and theoretical linguistic knowledge and speech skills on the level of oral and written speech, insufficient the adequacy of existing methodological apparatus of course books of Ukrainian language in schools for children with severe speech disabilities, were developed working models of course books “Ukrainian language” in the 2-nd grade of this type of schools, was implemented the selection and equipment of training material to them. There are modern research about the structure of speech disabilities in a content of course books, the sequence of a formation of a practical and elementary theoretical knowledge about the language, writing skills, direction of training activities to a prevention of possible disorders of speech development and development of speech activity of child.
