Abstract

General requirementsfor the development of educational texts, tasks systems and methodical apparatus of textbook on geometry for the profi le level are proposed, in particular: ensuring the motivation and interest in mastering the competencies; scientism and the availability of educational texts; the coordination of the profi le course content with the academic one, practical and applied focus of the content; mastering not only the formal-logical but operational knowledge;differentiated teaching of geometry due to the multilevel complexity of  educational material; the adequacy of imaginary images to practical experience;organization of research activity; the active use of software and teaching resources  (demonstrating, modeling, training). Given proofs of requirements and ways of their realization should take into consideration with the type and content of the students’ competences – subject geometrical (substantive, procedural-operational, information-technology, research), interdisciplinary geometrical (intersubject and specializing – as an element of professional training) and key.
