Abstract
In the article has been analyzed the textbooks and manuals for high school on various subjects. Investigated the gnoseological value of the content the textbooks and the necessity in which is located in their knowledge. The author described the textbooks which is implemented an invariant is the content of high school education, as well as benefi ts (variation component). On the basis of theoretical and empirical investigations substantiated of the necessity of realization the invariant and variant components of the content in the high school education by textbook funds. Focused attention on the fact that the gnoseological value of the content of textbooks in high school is its conversion to solid foundation material, spiritual, theoretical and practical activity peoples which will realize and deepen general education, general scientific and general profi le training of pupils. Consequently, they will become aware of the relationship of objects and phenomena to create own complete picture of the world and will learn to solve problems in order to painless entry into the world of adults.
