Abstract

Some of the trends and factors of mathematical education and their refl ection in the content of textbooks are considered. Thus there are two competing trends: the formation of students’ mathematical knowledge through a full mastery of knowledge (the full deployment of training situation according to H. F. Talyzina) and the use of knowledge bases ready for solving problems. To determine the content of mathematical education in universities and relevant content of textbooks in mathematics the author offers the system of methodological instructions that will help to solve the problem.
