Abstract

The article deals with the results of historiographical analysis regarding systematization of knowledge about a human in school textbooks on Biology for the period of 1932–1953. This period is revealed to be characterized by formation and development of the Soviets’ total system of school education; unification of Ukrainian education system with the Soviets’ one; creation of a stable Soviets’ textbook for each course of study on Biology; establishment of Biology as a separate subject; formation of a system of courses on Biology for secondary schools where the course «Anatomy and physiology of a human» contains systematized anatomical and physiological knowledge; infl uence of scientifi c knowledge about human physiology on formation of the content of the school course «Anatomy and physiology of a human» which was based on anti-religious propaganda and atheistic education and knowledge aimed at cultivating the dialectical materialist world outlook in students.
