Abstract

The article highlights the peculiarities of geography textbooks, which will be focused on the formation of competitive ability and demand in the future. Also, features described sampling and structuring geographic information that can be used in the classroom. Modern education creates people – zasvoyuvachiv «ready knowledge» and learning process aimed at accumulating a certain amount of knowledge. Many people get used to this model, because education today brings mainly people-externalities that are not able to work or creative, either on their own, especially when knowledge need quick updates. Thus, considering the above said – a textbook is an important element of the educational process in geography class, so you need to review and update not only the methods of working with him, but the approaches and principles of the model in general, will be aimed at developing students’ abilities which will be relevant in the future. So geography textbook – an educational book that is both educational means and methods, reports adapted generations of experience of the industry and geography in shaping students’ competitive ability and need in the future. These capabilities include: non-standard, creativity, kohnityvnist, adaptability, etc., which can be formed by creating heohinformatsiynoyi base and versatile, its wide use in the classroom for geography lessons.
