THE NATURAL SCIENCES TEXTBOOK FOR THE 5TH GRADE AS A BASIS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL IDEAS FOR A STABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE SUBJECTS OF THE ACADEMIC NATURAL SCIENCES BRANCH

Abstract

The article analyses the theoretical and methodical bases of the textbook of Natural Sciences for the 5th grade in the aspect of its role in the system of textbooks in the subjects of the academic branch «Natural Sciences» as abasis for the formation of the pupils’ natural-science worldview, natural-science  competence, the implementation of the ideas of a stable development formation. The educational model «Logic of Nature» directs the educational process to the formation of the integrity of the knowledge about nature, a natural-science worldview and a system of natural knowledge which is signifi cant for each pupil personally: a nature image, a natural-science competence, an implementation of the academic ideas aimed at a stable development. The essence of these ideas consists of the formation of a vital world outlook the center of which is the image of the nature, and the creation of the conditions for pupils’ research work in the environment lies during the lessons outdoors. The integrity of knowledge about nature has to be embodied in the textbook of natural study by means of a compliance of the purposes of teaching and the academic process to the age  and the psychological features of pupils as well as the integration of knowledge about nature on the basis of its general peculiarities. The textbook on natural study for the 5th grade, created according to the educational model «Logic of the Nature», realizes such principles: the thorough differentiation of the ways of the training material provision, the integrity of the contents of the textbook  and the methodical device of its assimilation, the continuous systematization of knowledge on the basis of the general peculiarities of nature, the personal orientation at the academic process.
