THE INTEGRATION OF THE PROFESSIONAL ORIENTATION COMPONENT IN THE CONTENT OF THE «CULINARY THE 11TH GRADE» TEXTBOOK

Abstract

In the article, the modern topical problem of the youth’s professional selfdetermination is observed. The tasks and the main branches of the professional orientation work with the high school students were provided. An emphasis was put on the content of the professional orientation work. Its most wide-spread components and the professional information which plays an integral role in it, in particularly were determined. The role of the professional information in the system of the professional orientation work with the high school students was discovered. The necessity of the presence of the professional orientation in the textbooks of Technologies in the form of a professional diagram on the example of a textbook for the technological branch and the technological profile «Culinary the 11th Grade» was explained.
The place of professional information in the content of the academic program and, correspondingly, in the textbook content was demonstrated. The peculiarities of the construction of the fi rst chapter of the «Culinary the 11th Grade» textbook as well as its importance in the aspect of the professional information and the youth’s further professional self-development were described. The following conclusion was made: the integration of the professional orientation component in the content of the textbooks which cover Technologies educational branch is expedient.
