Abstract
The article, basing on the analysis of current textbooks in foreign languages for 10th and 11th forms of a secondary school, deals with actual problems of upper schoolchildren’s self-determination on the lessons of foreign language. The author of the publication suggests some new technologies of teaching foreign languages which would be interesting and useful for upper school pupils in forming their professional orientation by the means of foreign language.
