Abstract

The analysis of basic educational sources for the “Color Science” course reveals the prospects for a more detailed examination of existing domestic and foreign textbooks and manuals in this area of knowledge. Comparison of several such textbooks, which are required today for persistent study, demonstrates a certain desire of the authors to convey the most necessary, rich theoretical information about color, sometimes taking into account the practical component of expanding not only the terminological arsenal of specialized landmarks but also enriching the experimental level of creative verification of assimilation with thematic layers of knowledge in the measurements of the consolidation of the learned material. The use of such an author’s conceptual component as the «methodological vector of analysis» allows us to focus on such positions that transfer textbooks on color science into a full-fledged mode of preparing students for the professional mastery of a future profession.
When establishing key links with the supporting material of the educational literature on color science, a real dilemma arises with terminological inconsistency in the circulation of the constant application of basic concepts. Modeling the positive actualization of the invention outside the discussion program of favorable content of coordination conceptual combinations, promising methodological vectors are identified, which when comparing several educational publications on color science draw attention to the effective and accurate application in educational and professional work with creative students. This approach allows to analyze the Ukrainian educational and methodological resource in a different way and to add to the modern teaching of such a professional discipline as “Color Science”, already transformed perspective provisions with the publication of methodical progress of balanced purposefulness.
