Abstract

The conceptual principles of the selection of special courses (optional courses) for the technological profile training for the pupils of professional lyceum have been determined. The scientific designing basis of the content of special courses for profile training of technologies has been developed. The importance of using the specialized subjects and special courses in the complex in the educational process of the profile lyceum has been substantiated. The ways and means of solving the interconnection and complementarity of profile subjects and special courses in the process of profile-based teaching of technologies have been proposed. This has been done on the basis of the author’s training programs of the profile subject «Technical design» and the special course «Design and construction of engineering objects». The peculiarities of the complex introduction of profile subjects and special courses into the educational process as the basis of the content of the profile technology education in the professional lyceum have been determined. The basic approaches have been determined for the development of the methodology of competently oriented technology training in the professional lyceum as the content of specialized subjects and special courses in the case of their integrated use in the educational process. This issue was solved on the basis of specialized subjects and special courses developed in the department of technological education, the content of which is well-coordinated with each other in accordance with the training requirements, their appointment by definition, etc. (for example, the aforementioned profiled subject «Technical Design» and a special course «Projecting and Design of Engineering Objects»). It is emphasized that the above-mentioned is especially important for ensuring the effectiveness of profile education of technologies in the professional lyceum.
