THE LAYOUT ORIGINALS OF THE TEXTBOOK IN UKRAINIAN HISTORY FOR THE 7TH GRADE: A RELIGIOUS COMPONENT

Abstract

In the article, the importance of theological competence in the course of the history of Ukraine was specifi ed;the potential of its formation in the 7th grade in accordance with the requirements of the State Standard of secondary educationas well as the current history curriculum was represented. Taking it into consideration the analysis of the layout originals of fi ve books that had been published in 2015 was conducted; these textbooks were developed in accordance with the current curriculums; theynot only include the basic information on religion, but also deepen it and include in interactive in some cases. On this basis, we have developed the recommendationwhichstates that because of the fact that various aspects are better summarized in various texts, it would be extremely useful to use different textbooks at different stages (or at least their material that could be used by teachers in preparing for lessons and holding them). However, the main point isa Christianitycentered presentation, which should be avoided. In general, the layout originalsof the textbooks meet the requirements of the State Standard as well as the curriculum, and if used simultaneously, they can provide a lively, balanced and interesting process of learning the history of Ukraine.
