Abstract

This article analyzes the possibilities of fundamentalization and the humanization of education in a profi le school. General approaches to the problem of fundamentalization of contents of education at senior school are examined. A concept «fundamentalization of contents of humanitarian objects» is analysed. A concept «liberal education» as a priority development of the general cultural components in the contents of education, sent to forming of the personal maturity of schoolchildren, is examined in the article. There is a necessity of the transformation of the education contents for a basic school. The expected results of liberal education are determined: the self-determination in the surrounding world; the valued orientations; the creative application of the formed competences; the personality qualities, the positive vital position. The problem of the textbook opportunities in fundamentalization and the humanitarization training was investigated. The article reviews features of the selection of the content of the humanitarian subjects in a fundamental nature of training, the results of the experimental studies in this area in the Ukrainian school.
