Abstract

The conceptual basis includes the following elements: psychological ones (the main steps of studying process are listed in the content and structure of this book; there are some resources for the formation of all structural components of studying activities – cognitive, procedural and motivational; age peculiarities are considerated in the development of age-appropriate educational books for primary school children ), didactic ones (the main elements of educational content are fully represented in the book; the guarantee of the educational, the developmental and the educational impact on a primary school pupil; adequacy of studying process’ model on a` specifi c stage of historical development; organic connection with other elements of teaching materials) and procedural ones (the presence of educational technology, the sequence of the subject knowledge presentation in a book, feasibility of using different means (fi rstly, there are various types of tasks and exercises) for the development of students’ specifi c learning skills (for a subject) ), and the bases of the fi rst grade school books structure are listed and analyzed in the article.
