Abstract
On the basis of the hypothesis about a textbook on Astronomy as an open information system, the certain peculiarities of the informational and academic environment of the Astronomy course at a comprehensive school were studied in the article.
The informational and academic environment (IAC) of the Astronomy course is a complex, artifi cial system which is created by a few components and which gives an opportunity to achieve the academic goals in the process of the Astronomy studying.
The components of the IAC are the following: evaluative and purposeful one (the integrity of the goals and the values of the Astronomy education which is guaranteed under the conditions of the informational society); content and methodological one (the content components of the IAC, the principles, the forms, and the methods of teaching); communicative and psychological (the peculiarities of the subjects of the informational and academic environment, the peculiarities of the interrelations in the communicative branch) and technical one (the integrity of the technical devices and the software). This environment allows to attract new and important issues for the educational information purposes from different sources and to supply textbook information during the studying process of Astronomy.
