THE FORMATION OF THE SYSTEM OF HYDROLOGICAL CONCEPTS IN THE SCHOOL PHYSICAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL COURSES

Abstract

In the article, the volume and the structure of the system of hydrological concepts are determined, and the peculiarities of their provision in the textbooks of Geography at the main school are demonstrated. It is noted that the formation of the full-fl edged system of hydrological terms which can be used and improvedby a student in his further life must be carried out in correspondence with the psychological and pedagogical conditions. The author of the article formed a system of hydrological concepts, and the peculiarities of their demonstration in the Geography textbooks for the main school were defi ned; the psychological and pedagogical conditions which are necessary for the formation of the system of hydrological concepts were determined. It is stated that the formation of hydrological concepts must correspond to the age peculiarities of the pupils of the main school.
