Abstract

The article is dedicated to the research of organizing the systemic scientific methodical work with pedagogical staff of village schools regarding to the problem of effective use of the textbook «Ukrainian language», the features of using the textbook «Ukrainian language» for 5 classes in rural schools, innovative forms of scientific and methodical work of the teaching staff. The textbook «Ukrainian language» enables deeper knowledge of communication science, learning the rules of conversation (connected speech) by means of independent work of students in the classroom as well as after classes. The work of methodical organizations plays an important part in the scientific and methodical work of the teaching staff in rural schools: temporary creative teams of teachers, trainings in small groups, at their meetings discuss the problems of scientific and methodological aspects of using the «Ukrainian language» textbook and readiness of teachers for organization of fi fth-formers’ self-study work with school textbooks. At the district and school meetings of scientifi c and methodical groups discussing a new curriculum of the Ukrainian language, learning the scientific and methodical teaching materials, analyzing the advantages and disadvantages, aesthetic design of the textbook and producing the methodical recommendations are implemented. Systematical scientifi c and methodical work with teachers contribute highquality implementation of the curriculum of the Ukrainian language, raise the professional competence of teachers that is necessary for improving Ukrainian language teaching.
