Abstract

This article summarizes the experience of the creation of new textbooks on computer science for 5th grade , meet the requirements of the new State standard basic and upper secondary education. Determined that examined textbooks are focused on basic educational goals, which are delivered to the course of computer science in the regulatory documents of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine. The features of the structure and content of textbooks on computer science for grade 5 elementary school on the example of the two existing textbooks (J. Ruvkynd, T. Lysenko, L. Chernykova, V. Shakotko «Informatic 5 class» and (N. Morse, E. Barnaya, V. Vember, O. Kuzmynskaya, N. Sarazhynskaya «Informatics class 5») for secondary schools and recommended MES for schools with profound study of science and math (authors L. Kartashova, V. Rudenko, V. Lapynskiy and others).
