Abstract

The article describes the theoretical principles of cultural approach in the study of literature in the school, the technique of its implementation in integrated textbooks for Literature for 5 – 8 forms of schools with Russian language of instruction. Allocated tasks of cultural content on the different stages of the study of art, focuses on the structure of the jobs that contain informative text of cultural character. Cultural Approach in the study of literature in the school at present is seen as an essential component of culture and one of the main sources for its transfer to the younger generation, through which the students not only to accumulate knowledge, formed the necessary skills and competencies, but also achieved higher goals – the personality growing person as the bearer and creator of culture. Active occurrence of schoolchildren in the world of fi ction is possible under the condition of deep perceptions of the writer’s works in the context of the culture that created it, comprehension of literary text as a general cultural phenomenon, encompassing the basis of its aesthetic and moral values . Comprehension of their students, deepening from class to class, will promote the absorption of the dominant culture of the foundations that determine the nature of ideology, behavior and values students.
