THE CONCEPTUAL BASIS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF BIOGRAPHICAL ARTICLES IN THE TEXTBOOKS OF THE INTEGRATED COURSE «LITERATURE (RUSSIAN AND WORLD)» FROM THE STANDPOINT OF CULTURAL APPROACH

Abstract

The article discusses the theoretical basis of the development of textbooks in the integrated course literature biographical articles about writers from the standpoint of cultural approach. Cultural Approach involves the study of the writer or poet in the context of history, literature, culture and life of his time. This context is created through the involvement off ine and decorative arts, rarebooks, manuscripts, documents, works of memoir literature, paintings and musical works, works of recent decades, the study on the works of a writer that complement and deepenour understandin go the master of artistic expression and his time. Biographical article about the writeras a «manofculture» should give a picture of the formation of the personality of the artist as a representative of his time and a certainera. Picking and processing the material for this article, the author of the textbook is required to show how the activity of the writer refers to the historical traditions of the nation, to what extent refl ected in his personality originality of the people, their spiritual, psychological make up, national specifi c. Proper place in the biographical article should take a characteristic of the environment in whicht here was a writer, his contemporaries and – more broadly – of his era.
