Abstract
The intercultural communication is a topical methodical problem. The article presents the linguistic-methodical basis of realization the axiological aspect of the Russian language textbook for foreign students. The principles of choosing the emotional and valuable language items of different levels in order to form the skills of intercultural communication are considered. The skills of appraising the values of the foreign culture and communication in the foreign language help to avoid the confl icts and the misunderstandings. The author offers the special group of Russian verbs which can be used for a review and an appraising of the Russian scientific text. One more group of verbs and phrases helps to understand and express the personal attitude and appraising. The special attention has to be paid to the multi-meaning words and expressions and to the role of intonation in changing the meaning of speech.
