Abstract

The scientifi c report introduces the approach to the problem of designing the geography textbooks 6-7 classes. At the heart of quality of writing a textbook should encourage a greater level of adoption of geographical knowledge is compliance with the principles of teaching , in particular, the greening of school education, the development of creative abilities of students by improving self-esteem , the use of interdisciplinary connections , etc. in compliance with the provisions of the new national standard. The new State Standard of basic and upper secondary education have benefited from the introduction of new methodological developments, in particular, the theory and methods of teaching geography. After all , participated in the development of state standards and the laboratory staff of geographic and economic foundation of the Institute of Pedagogy NAPS of Ukraine.
