Abstract
The article analyzes the possibilities of using mini-modules of elective courses in specialized training of rural institutions of general secondary education, discloses the main forms and methods of teaching, gives methodological recommendations for working with textbooks and manuals, additional literature. In particular, the main forms of training are described: group (dynamic groups, additional classes, group consultations, tutoring classes, interschool electives, subject circles and sections, etc.) and individual (independent work, individual consultations, etc.). On the example of the activity and problem approaches, the methodology of mastering new types of activity, the use of experimental and search methods in educational practice, the principle of consistency are revealed. Interesting forms of teaching are teaching other students, where the ability to learn, create a personal portfolio, and conduct tutoring is developed. The use of individual elements of modular education in the system of general secondary education in practice of application proves its advantage, relevance and effectiveness. The traditional presentation of courses on the choice of geography and economics is informative in nature, offers a huge amount of information, the assimilation of which is difficult under conditions of adaptive quarantine. The use of modular learning technology allows you to solve the selected teaching problems and is a means of systematizing students’ knowledge.
