Abstract

In the article the issues of differentiation of history teaching in a school textbook in 40 – 50 years of the XX-th century are opened. The processes of developing differentiated approaches within the historical education in national schools of the USSR showed. The features of content of school national and world history courses highlighted. The changes in the school textbook development connecting with the transformation of educational paradigm and reforms of USSR school in the late 50-s of XX-th century analyzed. The directions of the external differentiation, in particular based on age of students difference which attract at the content of school history courses researched. The attention paid to national needs of students in history school studies in Ukraine.
